Brie Larson x reader part 2
Chapter 2 I'll She Her in The Courtroom
"Everything in life is worth fighting for every person, every family, every one's dream , everyone's happiness, everyone's peace, everyone's heart; every race, gender, sexual orientation be happy we live in this world were the darkness can chance us down if it lets you so stand for the people around you when you something wrong happening give someone a smile its worth a million a bucks, give someone a hug its worth a million smiles, make sure some ones okay its worth a million hugs. Don't be afraid of what others think be brave, be strong, be hopeful and everything will work itself out"- Y/N Y/L/N
At the age of 18 you start getting called to be a jury, But for me it was the age of 11 and it wasn't a juror it was a plaintiff or witness I don’t remember. I didn’t look too much into it, I just prepared to testify against someone I loved. My mother yes I loved her she might be the devil wearing human skin but I still cared about her. Now that I think about it from where I am at in life now I most definitely didn’t love her. I remember clearly sitting next to John wearing a black dress. (It’s funny how things come full circle because I stopped wearing dresses and I forgot why but while writing this I remembered that I have bad memories around it.) I don’t Remember much about the courtroom. My therapist has taught me how to block most of this stuff out so that I don't have to deal with the nightmares anymore. But one thing that is permanently burned in my head is when My mother walked in except she didn't look like my mother this time she looked like she was a serial killer. She still looked like the woman who raised me but I could see an evil in her eyes, an evil I hope to never see on my own. An evil that everyone else thought would appear in me. That was until I started my new life I mean people know me know my mom but I’ve learned how to just let it be that’s why I’m writing this book I want people to relize that I hat her as much as everyone else maybe ever more sure I didn’t title this I’m glad my mom died which is what I wanted to but Jeannette Mcurdy took that title before I even thought about writing this. Anyway She was clearly drunk and high. The words that I remember is when the judge asked,
"how i knew the defendant."
John said, "She's the daughter of the defendant."
My mom shouted out, "Daughter I've never had a Daughter. I've never seen this person a day in my life."
I looked down at the ground knowing all the bad stuff that my mom had done but this person was still my mom. The person that used to let me cuddle her when I was sick on the couch. What had I done wrong to the world that made this be my life. I don't want anyone else to have to go through this pain; it's enough trauma for a lifetime that nothing can fix. I thought of the reason I had said theater to John when he asked me what I wanted to do. I said it because I wanted to use a stage to echo my voice for anyone in the world who was hurting or atleast where I lived for now. One by one the witnesses went on the stands until it was my turn. John wasn't the lawyer but I had refused to have anyone but jhon ask me the Questions.
John asked "Hello Miss. Y/L/N where did you find out all of this stuff? "
"Hello sir in these diarys of my moms she wrote everything shes ever done in these she also gave the location of where she hid the bodies," I looked at the jury,
“Everyone hates there mother once they hit double digits thats been going on for a while I would never want to do this to my mom even if she had bailed me out of jail when i was six like a good mother i would still do this when someone loses a loved one it's the hardest moment in that person's life they will go to eveery end to just get a small amount of clojure to these families whom my mom has killed the loved ones of clojure to the man whom my mother had me with closure to the kid i use to call my bestfriend and flirt with whom is actuall my sister closuer for me to know its okay to date both boy in girl but its not okay to cheat and murder them and i hope that god can forgive my mom one day but I know that shes my mother and shes done alot of bad stuff I would still fight to the end of earth to hear her say once in my life to me that she loves me. But i know that will never happen. my mom isn't a bad person. she's the one who let me cuddle with her when i was sick,Would turn my radio up when my favorite song would come on, Would turn on christmas movies because she knew they were my favorite this woman that stands before you today is not my mother she has her face but she doesn't have her heart the woman was not whom I knew my mother to be and in my head it's going to stay that way because im 11 and i've already gone through more trauma then most of you adults can say you have been my mom has killed several innocent people and I want to give those people that have gone through that trauma happiness for once in their life. Sir i hope that answers your question If it doesn't too bad to sad but Im not staying another minute in this courtroom with the worst mother in the world," I turned towards the judge, "fax me the information once you guys find out pls," Looked at john, "your the only true parent i've had for now john your welcome to thanksgiving any time," Turned to the jury, "thanks for your time," Turned to my mother,"Go to hell." I replied
Sometimes I regret the decision I made that day. I mean she was my mother and I’m not condoning her behavior but pepole make mistakes
Trauma defention: an emotional response to a terrible event like an accident, rape or natural disaster.
My definition: the years of lies and pain my mother put me through.

So yesterday saw the premier of Fast X which apparently was at the Colosseum in Rome? A word that has, for my entire life, troubled me in that I always want there to be two L's and one S, which you think might not come up a lot but I write a lot more about the X-Men than I care to admit and boy does Piotr Rasputin give me fits, even though I can write his given name in my sleep. What does that have to do with Brie Larson? Not a lot but my family is Italian and somewhere out there is an alternate reality where I was her Uber driver and she missed the premier because I couldn't get the GPS to work as I typed in "Collusium, Collussium, Collussusiam?, Big Arena Thing" and she missed the premier and we all lose out on this really nice black dress. I am not claiming we are living in the best timeline, I am just saying it could be worse. For me at least cause apparently at some point, someone in my family traveled north to Rome, settled there, and now I am barely getting by as an Uber Driver and probably eating really soupy Pasta Fazool like they like in Rome instead of my Grandma's which is much, much better. But slightly worse for the rest of you because Brie Larson would have missed the premier and you wouldn't have that first picture (and thank god this is tumblr and not twitter or some checkmark crypto bro would feel the need to tell me that that the idea of alternate timelines would never work that way because if that side of my family hadn’t left Italy generations ago then I wouldn’t exist at all because the timeline would have changed so much I never would have been created. To that I say, yeah, you’re probably right but this doesn’t make you smarter than other people, just substantially less fun. Second, you’re arguing about a thing that does not exist in any measurable way which makes it metaphysical as much as physical, so who is to say the soul doesn’t remain the same across realities? Not me, just saying the entire thing is so stupid to fact check people on that you are not just no fun, you’re actually an idiot as well). She looked great by the way, did I say that? She looks great. Today I want to fuck Brie Larson.

Fast X: Release date, trailer, cast, plot & more
he Fast & Furious franchise has become one of the biggest and most financially successful franchises of the 2000s.
Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto and his band of friends, family, and allies has proved to be a hit. With great cars and action sequences galore, Fast & Furious continues to raise the bar when it comes to its death defying action. The upcoming entry in the franchise, Fast X, will serve as the tenth film in the main series and eleventh when including the spin off film Hobbs & Shaw. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about Fast X ahead of its release.
read another article : Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Star Cast of Fast X
The film stars Vin Diesel essaying the role of Dominic Toretto aka Dom, it also has names such as Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, Jason Statham, John Cena, Rita Moreno, Brie Larson, and Jason Momoa in key roles.
Apart from this Michelle Rodriguez, Chris Bridges popularly known as Ludacris, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Michael Rooker, Helen Mirren, and Cardi B are among the supporting cast members.
Fast X's Release Date?
The first part of Fast X is currently scheduled to be released on May 19, 2023. The previous movie, F9, had one of the most successful theatrical runs of the pandemic period, so it stands to reason that we'll be seeing the upcoming film in theaters unless something really drastic happens. Fast X was originally scheduled to arrive in April 2021 but was postponed after F9 ran into a series of delays. It was then set for release on April 7, 2023, but has since been delayed again. There hasn't been any word on when Part 2 of the movie will be out, but we'll probably find out soon enough.
Does Fast X Have a Trailer?
Set to a remixed version of The Notorious B.I.G's "Notorious Thugs," the official trailer for Fast X was released on February 10, 2023, ahead of Super Bowl LVII, and it's appropriately as big, bombastic, and bloated as the franchise itself. The nearly 4-minute long trailer introduces fans to several new characters, including Jason Momoa's villainous Dante, who happens to be the son of Hernan Reyes, the drug kingpin that Dom and his family faced off against in Fast Five. The trailer also introduces fans to Academy Award Winner and Hollywood legend Rita Moreno as Dom and Mia’s Abuelita Toretto and Academy Award Winner Brie Larson as Tess, who is presumably a new member of Dom's family. The trailer also revealed that John Cena's Jakob Toretto, who was the main villain in the previous entry, will now be working alongside his formerly estranged brother Dom. A shortened version of the trailer was also released during Super Bowl LVII, which you can see below.

[Transcript] Season 3, Episode 9. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters Season 1 Review
Why is the earth shaking? Could it be... Godzilla? The Stereo Geeks weren't planning to watch Monarch: Legacy of Monsters but once we started watching it, we could not stop. Ron and Mon discuss what kept us going back to the show, what could have been done better, and how that father-son acting duo worked out. Warning, spoilers ahead.
Did you enjoy Monarch: Legacy of Monsters?
Monarch: Legacy of Monsters image courtesy Apple TV+.
Listen to the episode on Spotify.
Hello and welcome to a new episode of Stereo Geeks.
Today we're discussing Apple TV+'s Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
I'm Mon.
And I'm Ron.
Let's talk about this show.
So we have 10 episodes of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
It's split into two timelines.
One is set in the 1950s, when the Titans are first spotted, and Monarch is being set up.
And the other is in 2015, after a Titan attack and the search for answers.
So let's delve a little bit deeper into what all this means, because you're probably wondering, who are the Titans?
So Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is a TV show, which is the latest installment in the Monsterverse franchise.
And to explain, the Monsterverse is this American franchise, and it's a shared fictional universe, something like the Marvel Cinematic Universe, if you like.
So this Monsterverse features Godzilla, King Kong, and a bunch of other characters who were originally created and owned by Toho Company Limited.
This franchise started with Godzilla, the movie in 2014, which starred Aaron Taylor Johnson.
Then we had Kong's Skull Island with Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston, which I had no idea was connected to Godzilla, but it is.
Following which, we had Godzilla, King of the Monsters.
This is a direct sequel to the Godzilla movie.
This was starring Millie Bobby Brown.
And the sequel to that was Godzilla vs.
Kong, which I have not seen.
I didn't even know this movie existed, so this is news to me.
And Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is connected to all these films.
The next film is going to be Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.
That's coming out in 2024.
None of these are related to apparently the superior Godzilla movie, Godzilla Minus One.
We have not seen that yet.
It's on our list.
I have to admit, I'm a little bit confused because I thought all the promos were for the same TV show, and it turns out Godzilla Minus One is a movie.
I have to say, Godzilla is not like a thing that we follow.
He was, you could say, in the background of our childhood.
I remember us catching a few Godzilla movies or snippets here and there, but really he wasn't really a thing for us.
But we decided to watch this show after seeing a few of the promos.
It looked kind of interesting.
And well, surprisingly, the show was compelling.
We could not stop watching it.
I think it helps that you don't have to watch all the other movies to understand what's happening in this show.
In fact, in my opinion, some of the reveals were actually more exciting because I completely forgot what had happened in the movies I'd seen.
First episode in, I was hooked.
I don't know why I was hooked.
But I mean, one of the reasons could be the fact that it really does deal a lot with the aftermath of the G-Day disaster.
It's the day that Godzilla attacked San Francisco.
I've always found that very interesting.
How does humanity pick itself up from mass tragedy?
And then in the first episode, we find out about Hiroshi's double life.
Yeah, I needed to see more of that.
Honestly, this show is unpredictable in so many ways, not always in good ways, but it keeps you guessing and really keeps you wanting more.
So let's get into some of the negatives.
The show is so inconsistent with storytelling.
Is Monarch good?
Is it bad?
When did Monarch actually begin?
Even that's up for debate.
Like they say one date at one point and somebody else is convinced it's another date.
Very confusing.
Also, please explain why Hiroshi made the life choices that he did.
10 episodes, we still don't have an answer.
And let's not even get into what's actually happening in the show.
I can't say I understood most of what was going on on screen.
And I don't believe I understood people's motivations either.
I know this is a fictional fantastical show about kaiju and monsters.
Even then, I would like the science to make some modicum of sense.
I can't say it did.
Maybe because of the unpredictable nature of the story and the characters especially, I was just like, you know what?
It's inconsistent and some of the actions are beyond belief.
But this is riveting stuff.
I want to see more of what's happening.
And I also like to say that I love how this show goes back to the Japanese roots of this character.
When I say this character, I mean Godzilla.
He's the main character, come on.
A lot of stuff when it gets commentated by the US, they kind of forget its origins or its roots.
So it's nice that Godzilla or in the original Japanese pronunciation, Gojira, its heritage is actually acknowledged in this show.
That being said, the Titans, the monsters of the title, aside from Godzilla, I was not that impressed with the other designs.
With Godzilla, I love the scale of this monster.
Apparently, it's even better in Godzilla minus one.
I can't wait to watch that movie.
But in this one, especially, you feel the scale, you feel the fear and this rippling design of this creature.
The others, I don't know, they just look like very poor knockoffs.
For me, I wasn't really thinking that much about the science or the inconsistencies.
I was really going with the flow because, like, you have a very innocuous start.
You have Kate, played by Anna Sawai, basically going to Japan from San Francisco, and she's going to settle her father's estate because he's been declared dead.
And when she goes there, she finds that he's got another wife and a child.
And her newly found brother, Kentaro, played by Ren Watabe, his immediate animosity towards Kate.
I really enjoyed watching that because that is a very natural reaction.
He's angry at his father.
His father is not here.
He's apparently dead.
He's going to take it out on the first person he can, and that's Kate.
And it was such a great foil to his mother's desire to know her husband's other child.
So for me, on the one hand, I was a bit upset that we didn't see as much of a Godzilla.
Ten episodes and maybe three or four glimpses.
The last episode, though, was outstanding.
Oh, my God.
But this is the kind of stuff that kept me riveted.
And the other thing that I really liked was Kate's response to G-Day.
She completely shuts down, which is, again, a very natural reaction because we realize, and it takes a couple of episodes, they don't show it immediately.
We just know that something bad happened to her.
All her students died.
She was the only one who got off the school bus and she watched all of them die.
That's not something that you can just bounce back from.
This trip to Japan is literally the first time in a long time that Kate is being human.
And then we learn, again, this is also slowly eeked out, that it wasn't just her students that she lost.
It looks like she also lost her girlfriend, who she was cheating on.
Like father, like daughter, apparently.
Yeah, I have to say, I really like the younger actors in this show.
Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, and especially Ren Watabe.
They really held their own and carried the show.
Sawai, I felt like she was so sweet and she was so emotional as Kate.
And you really feel for this character, who's been through so much.
And she faces an even more ridiculous circumstance in the very first episode.
She thought surviving a literal monster attack would be the worst thing she ever faced in her life.
Well, wait till you get to Japan.
Talking about Kiersey Clemons, her May is such an anomalous character here.
Honestly, at first, I thought she's just a tech person.
You always have the tech person in these monster movies.
But then we kind of slowly find out that May and Kentaro were in a pretty strong romantic relationship.
She's learned Japanese while she's been there.
And then May just starts revealing that she's got all these secrets.
She's not telling us what secrets, but there are a lot of secrets.
And these are the kind of things that will get her killed.
And everybody around her as well.
Unlocking those truths about May, there's an entire episode that's dedicated to that.
That's how important a character she is.
It really kept me riveted.
But I would say that once those secrets are revealed, I felt like May kind of faded into the background.
She didn't have as much to do.
But the show still tries to keep some kind of a focus on her.
Because then she kind of becomes the love interest for Kit.
Yeah, I've seen Clemence in a few other places, and I've never been all that impressed by her.
But I really dug this performance of hers as May.
She's really someone who's no nonsense.
She's also scared, she's angry, she's kind of lost.
And then it becomes this really sweet kind of thing between her and Kate, where they're always looking for each other and trying to help each other out, and it's really, really adorable.
Oh yeah, that was just so cute.
I really like the fact that, you know, there's romantic chemistry between the actors, and any other show, they might have just ignored it.
But I was kind of relieved that the show just went with it and said, okay, fine, these two have great chemistry, let them be a couple.
It sucks for Kentaro though.
But there's a love triangle in the past as well.
Yeah, see, this is where the story issues come in, because it wasn't until Kate and May have this really sweet moment, not a romantic moment, but it's the start of one, that you realize, oh, this is the start of a love triangle.
Oh, they're paralleling something from 1950.
A better writing team would have made that connection more seamless, and not just that connection.
It would have been throughout the show with other parts of the story.
But I really want to talk about Ren Watabe.
To me, he was the star of this show.
I also think he got a lot to do.
Kintaro is really the emotional core of the story.
He also goes off alone on several occasions.
Those are stupid decisions, but you know, that's focusing only on him.
So I found that he was carrying a lot on his shoulders on his own.
He was really excellent and really understated as well.
I genuinely would love to see more of him in Hollywood, but I do not know.
But yeah, these young folks, really, really good.
Let's go to the storylines in the past.
So we've got Keiko, who is a Japanese scientist.
She meets Lee Shaw, played by Wyatt Russell, and Will Randa, played by Anders Holm.
Now this is where the other love triangle comes in.
I have to say they didn't have as much chemistry as the three in 2015.
Honestly, the romance makes no sense in this show.
It's absolutely bizarre.
Like, who's in love with whom?
Why?
How do the timelines on some of these romances even work?
Why is X kissing Y when they were actually marrying Z?
I don't understand what is happening.
Weird, weird, weird.
Yeah, I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that Keiko is an amazing character.
Like, she was my favorite on this show.
She is formidable.
She's smart.
She's also really passionate about her work, and especially to protect the Titans.
I really liked that about her.
She doesn't want to blow the Titans up.
She doesn't just see them as a threat.
She sees them as a whole bunch of other creatures who have been happily living side by side with humanity and she wants to protect them and learn from them.
Mari Yamamoto was really good as Keiko, but I think she needed more story.
I feel like she got the emotional angles, and yes, her passion for her work and these creatures was great, but I just felt like she needed to be more of a doer.
Well, there's a reason why she didn't get as much story as we would have liked, and that's kind of something that happens in the very first episode.
And the rest of the season, I felt like it subsumed the fun science stuff that Keiko was doing with the Keiko-Lee-Billy love triangle in a way that added a layer of complexity to their interactions, but I'm still struggling to understand why Keiko got with Billy at all.
He seems to be a bit thick to me.
No offense, but I was wholly unconvinced by Anders Holm, who plays Billy Rander in this show.
Not sure what vibe he was going for.
I mean, it's kind of explained in the last episode, but at the same time, throughout the show, I'm like, he seems to be on a different plane than the rest of the show characters, so I was just not interested in watching this character at all.
But I love the casting choice of Wyatt and Kurt Russell playing the same character at two different ages.
I'll admit, the Nippo baby conversation comes into the fray here, but it was still a lot of fun to watch.
I don't know about you, though.
For me, it does put a spotlight on how Wyatt lacks the charisma of his dad.
I mean, I'm not even the biggest Kurt Russell fan here, though we did watch a lot of Tango and Cash's Kids, so that might explain a lot.
But even then, I'm like, Kurt Russell just has this presence, and he's so good.
And then whenever it was Wyatt, it's like, okay, yeah, he's doing his thing, but oh, no, let's bring Kurt back on the screen.
Honestly, I really liked watching the Russells.
It was so unexpected.
And I love the…
Obviously, the camera did these things where you're looking at one person's face and then you go to the other ones.
But there was such synergy between their characters.
I really was very impressed by that.
And yes, I agree.
Wyatt doesn't quite have the charisma of his dad, but you can kind of see why Keiko liked him.
And you can kind of see why the young people in 2015 just follow Lee Shaw, even though they don't know who he is, they don't know his connection to their dad.
They just go with him.
But there's just something about Kurt Russell.
His Lee Shaw is just so scarily driven and he's almost like way too enthusiastic and funny and jolly, but at the most inopportune moment, like everybody is terrified around him and he's like, oh my god, this is amazing what's happening.
What?
No, we are almost going to die.
But I loved watching him.
Yeah, I think, you know, when you're watching somebody like that, who's got just so many levels to his performance, the way his face lights up and he sees this particular person and other times when he knows something and he doesn't want to reveal it or he's like a little bit scared, but again, Macho Guy doesn't want to reveal that.
You see that and then you've got all these characters in Monarch.
They were the weakest link for me.
Everybody, I know they were doing a good job, but they just were so dull.
All those performances were so dull.
The characters were so dull.
But that final scene in the finale though, huh?
I'm not even that invested in the Monsterverse and I got so excited.
Bring on season two.
Honestly, this is the kind of show where you come for the titans, but you stay for the human drama.
And with that ending, we need a season two.
And that's it from us talking about Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.
Let us know how you like the show.

The Marvels Review
To those claiming the MCU is falling apart, that Disney needs new leadership, that superhero movies are dying this movie won't do a thing to change anyone's mind. While better than feared, it's worse than hoped.
There isn't a single idea in the movie that isn't half-baked and underdeveloped. So much of the events, hinting at far more interesting stories, are told not shown. So many character dynamics are hinted at but never used, like not meeting your heroes which should be obvious but is never developed.
The movie can't settle on one tone, swinging wildly between straightforward serious and sitcom-like silly. This is most notable in the escape sequence towards the end that tries to be about cute kittens and Lovecraftian horror in every shot.
There will be much discussion about the planet where they can only communicate through song and Carol is an actual Disney-style princess. A better filmmaker, like James Gunn, could have had much fun with it. But, again, it's played both too serious and too silly to settle one what they're trying to do.
Like the over bloated Spider-Man 3, Carol has one story going with Kamala but an entirely different one with Monica that the two don't work together. Carol is more interesting than she was in Endgame, though not enough to really carry a film. Monica seems included more to dump exposition and technobabble. Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris give okay but nothing memorable performances. Kamala is the movie's best part, an excellent continuation from her show. Iman Vellani perfectly embodies the comic book fan getting to be part of the adventure. In fact, it's only the cast of Ms. Marvel that really seems to be trying. The villain is one of Marvel's worst, with nothing memorable about her and a scheme literally out of Spaceballs. Nick Fury, once the glue that held the universe together, is now nothing but a useless character spouting cheesy one-liners.
The Multiverse is pointlessly shoehorned in, proving Marvel doesn't seem to have any idea what to do with it besides forcing it into everything they do.
Those who don't like having to study the entire MCU going into every project should be glad they don't have to know everything all the way back to Iron Man. They just have to know Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Infinity War, Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, WandaVision, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, and X-Men: Days of Future Past in order to understand all the story and references. Secret Invasion's place is confusing as the movie was originally supposed to come out before the series, but it neither sets up the series while it would directly contradict the show's ending.
But it makes the worst crime a movie can, it's dull, boring, and forgettable. Everything about the movie screams contractual obligation rather than a story anyone wanted to tell. The story doesn't seem all that impactful to the overall MCU and none of the characters really seem changed.
The film just can't escape all the behind-the-scene troubles. Reports of on-set fighting, terrible test screenings, numerous reshoots. Disney may just have the worst 100th anniversary since only the third Guardians movie has been anything close to a success for them. Many claim there is superhero fatigue, but it's really lousy movie fatigue. Sword-and-sandals, westerns, and slashers all went through the same thing. Superhero movies can no longer get by with just being part of some universe, they have to actually be good. After all, Guardians 3 and Across the Spider-Verse proved audiences will still come out for good story. Disney and all their properties seem to be coasting on name-recognition alone.
Hopefully this movie will be the straw that broke the camel's back proving that they can't just keep blaming online haters, racists, and sexists and that real change is needed.

Hi there Tumblr, this is a narrated version of a short monologue about fandom discourse and a statement of intent. I’m experimenting with a few different platforms for publishing essays. The full text minus some improvisation is as follows:
Did you see that latest show, movie etc. that everyone hates with an incandescent passion and other people loved uncritically? Were you just sort of “whelmed” by it?
Was Captain Marvel just sort of okay? Not the pinnacle of the MCU but definitely watchable. The choice to have a sort of “Clint Eastwood” laconic and minimally emotive character was a valid choice even though it forced the film to rely on flashbacks and musical cues to convey the character’s emotional state. Maybe Sigourney Weaver’s Ripley is an example of a woman pulling off this style well and Brie Larson missed the mark?
If you’re aware of your own aesthetic biases, don’t project them onto other people, and generally find it frustrating when people conduct themselves boorishly online when talking about their fandoms, you’ve come to the right place!
Fear not, the Captain Marvel reference is bait. I have more complex thoughts about what works and what doesn’t regarding the character and the movies, and very little interest in how the actress conducts herself in interviews. A problematic relationship with fandoms is not not a problem but at the same time, let's give credit where credit is due in this messy, chaotic, and frequently venomous internet of ours it is often very challenging to identify the thoughtful, constructive critiques amid the pile of accounts with portraits of predominantly white men repeatedly typing Feminazi.
The good faith critiques are there! These aren’t flawless productions and there are still healthy, respectful ways to take issue with art but there are also a lot of trolls and I think we ought to put on our psychic armor and be mature enough to recognize when the people associated with these projects call out people who are behaving problematically, it’s probably not about you unless you’re the person arguing in bad faith! When the targets of criticism and harassment “clap back” we should apply the same “reasonable person” standard to their reactions that we would want them to apply to those of us who are approaching this from the position of wanting the stuff they enjoy to be better.
Yet if you hate, loathe, despise Brie Larson or Captain Marvel, want the film eradicated from canon or the part to be recast, this is not for you. This blog is dedicated to people who want to talk about their fandoms starting from a place of appreciation for the blood, sweat, and tears that go into these works. Chill out dude (and statistically speaking, yeah you’re probably a dude) it's just a movie and Brie’s a person with feelings too. If you think Megacorporation X needs your feedback on why they have made a terrible misstep, you can take more than 5 seconds to think through your commentary.
Edit: (This isn't in the narration, sorry. Might get updated someday.)
Did a rewatch of Captain Marvel for an essay on where to go with the character in The Marvels, and you know what? I didn't dislike the movie when I first saw it, but its aged like fine wine. With all the discussion about gaslighting, "cults" and diasporic peoples that I've absorbed since it first came out, not only is it a fun romp, I'd say its comparable to Civil War in how it plays with identity, loyalty, and the dehumanizing messiness of war. Killer soundtrack too.

I saw Fast X let’s see what I remember
I got very excited seeing Paul Walker in the beginning, I like that they try to find ways to get him in. Although it is very funny to me that they don’t try even a little bit in this one to explain why he’s not with the rest of the team. I guess he’s babysitting again
The recast of Dom’s son is so unsubtle it’s amazing. Like I know Vin Diesel believes he’s part black, he may be idk not my business, and probably wanted that represented in his characters kid, but John Cena is playing his full biological brother so the suggestion here is this kid gets his black ancestry through the John Cena line of the family which is hilarious
Speaking of John Cena, so much better in this one than 9, probably because they let him be funny instead of sad
I saw that double tank top on Letty and I knew my wife Sanja Hays was back
I called them making Cipher becoming part of the family. No redemption, no apology for killing Elena, or kidnapping Dom’s son, or trying to steal nukes, she’s just here now and finally has a good hair cut
I feel like this movie is a great example of listening to criticism and committing to the bit. People said the other movies didn’t have enough cars and this movie is 98% cars, but they also fully committed to the ridiculousness and were not backing off
I didn’t know how I’d feel about Jason Momoa as the villain but damn is he my favorite villain in this series, we really needed a muscular, effeminate evil bastard and he delivers. I’m pretty sure he’s wearing a different nail polish in every scene
To keep track of the cities they have absolutely fucked, we’ve got Rio, Edinburgh, and now Rome. They were just like yup we are blowing up the Vatican, that’s what’s happening in this one
Ramsey learned to drive :)
They show the Torretto cross necklace so much I really want the last movie to reveal they’re Jewish or something and the necklace is just an aesthetic choice
Between Jason Momoa and the Michelle Rodriguez-Charlize Theron fight this was a very bisexual movie for me
I love all of Brie Larson’s funky little outfits in this
Roman and Tej are soulmates and they’re so mad about it. Like they’re bound together in ways they will never connect to anyone else and it pisses them off so bad
I hope other people noticed that Pete Davidson’s black market dealer character was on Tumblr the whole time. I tried to see his blog name but it went too fast
I love that we’re on movie 10 when these guys are supposed to be some of the worlds greatest heroes and they 100% still kill with impunity. Mia had no idea why agents for the group she works with (I love that they referred to it as freelancing) were storming the house and she just immediately went into “Oh boy here I go killing again” mode no questions asked
I need to go back and see how many times they A. Are blasted world wide as criminals and terrorists and B. Get their same house exploded/full of bullets
Absolutely alarming amount of time before we got butts on screen, truly a mind boggling amount of time
Also Elena’s sister didn’t inherit her driftwood indoor arch which I was very sad about, RIP driftwood indoor arch
How did it take 10 movies for them to use the song Gasolina? That shit came out in 2010
Can’t wait for the next movie and watching Letty and Cipher in their Get Along shirt
Dom has watched two of his family members die via high speed car explosion, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened twice
I absolutely called that ending reveal, I knew [REDACTED] wasn’t dead, [PRONOUN] just had to leave to play [CHARACTER] for a bit before getting brought back
Also love that they never gave the nuclear submarine back to Russia, they just kept it
I do wonder how Dom and his son are going to survive a dam exploding on them. Probably by driving if I had to guess
Watching The Fast and the Furious
I love that not a single person in this movie can act, absolutely amazing
I love that the racing competition is called Race Wars and not a single person comments on that
I love that when trying to prove himself as a hardcore racer to Dom, Brian orders tuna on white bread with the crust cut off from Doms sister every day
I love the assertion that in Los Angeles there are parts of the city that literally hundreds of cars can congregate for street racing and it’s only after like a half hour that any cops notice
I love that the big heists the gang pulls are for DVD players
I love that the rival gang that’s a red herring just had a garage full of legally bought DVD players and it’s never explained
I love that they leave for a heist in the middle of the night and it’s clearly mid morning to afternoon when it happens, so like 6 hours after they drive out to the middle of the desert to wait
I love that they’re going 140 miles per hour on a highway with a semi truck and communicating by yelling from car to car, while in real life if you’re going over 50 with the windows kinda down you can’t hear the person in your passenger seat
I love that Brian wears Converse while drag racing
Love it, 9/10, I just wish we had a scene of the gang explaining how they fence hundreds of DVD players on a regular basis

Warning: Angst, Fluff, Cussing, Bullying
Thank God For Theater Chapter 3
Theater is Something that in compases many things not just acting, it's a way to put yourself out there. It's a way to start not caring what others think and you don't have to be on Broadway for you to be able to be affected by theater. theater can move you in many spectacular ways."- y/n Y/L/N
My moms name was all over the news of the worldwide. No matter where I went I would never be able to escape her. When I started theater I prayed that It didn't get any worse all the teasing and name calling. I knew that if I had memorized everyone in the 500 page play (holiday island a play about a bunch of brits on holiday.) I would finally be able to escape. After a while of feeling the escapism that theater provided to me. I realize that theater was what i wanted to do with my life no matter what, It was an escape from everything going on around me. So i was going to try everything to get there no matter what anyone told me even if i failed once i got there at least i got there at least i wasn't with my mother anymore. When I got home I found the letter that I had been praying for my mother was put in jail on a death sentence, Finally something good in my life.
It was the first day of theater If I didn't see him long Blonde hair, hazel eyes, Muscles, sunglasses, Button up plaid shirt, and Genes. I couldn't be falling for someone. Not again I don't know what I was thinks but I mean just one look at him and your in love. I Probably could have talked myself out of my feelings if I hadn't heard him talk his voice could part the sea. But at the same time put a baby to sleep. But the moment he spoke he hypnotized me with every word. But if he knew who I was he wouldn't want me. A couple weeks went by. I had gotten some friends there in the theater that did not judge because of my mother.
Rose,Alaska, lucy,Zia,Indgo they were not at all like me they were dark and talked about murder a lot and later on I found out that they would wright letters because they were in love with my mother they found criminals hot. At one point in time one said that hitler was extremely hot. Un surprising to me well wrighting this they have all ended up in prison. But the moment they found out I had a crush on Markus(the ks silent) Daniel Amor Traydon. he had my heart in knots and I had nothing to lose hell even as an adult and I could lose everything I still do it. I got tired of waiting for him to ask me out why can't a women do it I had done it before given it was with another women but I mean if he said no what was the worse thing that would happen.
"Hay" I yelled towards his direction
He walked over to me "Yes"
" Do you wanna hang out sometime?" I asked
"sure." he said
We heard the Director say "okay everyone go sit."
"Meet me after class, I'll give you my information." he said
I went and sat down the director had went around and asked everyone who he rounded on me and what about you ,"Mrs.Michael" he said
"Tina sir" I said
"Are you sure?" he asked
"1. As sure as I could ever be, 2. As sure as you were when you asked your ugly wife to marry you, 3. As sure as you were when you asked your ugly wifes hot sister to sleep with you, 4. As sure as your wife when she divorced your ass. Dose that answer you question?" I said
"You have confidence I like that It will get you far in this Job." he said
"Thanks sir." I said
"Okay work on that you got the confidence down but you need to not be a pushover." he said
"I'm not a pushover. I'm stronger than you so unless you wanna get physically pushed over and hurt by me move on to the next person." I said
"Okay moving on is everyone ready for starting reading lines Ann why don't you start." he said
Okay im reading Act 1 Scene 1 Line 5, I looked straight blinked. "Yes, definitely with a pool-view and a telly weren't it Tone?" i said this with a very emphatically and a little concerned voice
"Moving on."
I looked down knowing that my British accent wasn't the best and that I was competing for this part with people who had done Theater before. But I really didn't care. I gave it my all and acted with my heart not my mind.
after class I walked up to Markus'' how's life?"
"great" he said
"yah mine too." i said
"Here mine and my mom's number." he said ,"call me when you wanna hangout."
"Okay see you tomorrow." I said
I walked out to my grandmas car. and got in "hay grandma" I said she started to drive away.
"Hello kido, how was class today?" She asked.
"I think it's time I'm ready to go back to school." I said.
"Are you sure?" she asked.
"Yes," I said "I wanna go back to school."
"Well I'll call John and will get you into a school." She said "What school?"
"The one I went to as a Kid," I said
"Okay i'll see what I can do." She said
"Thanks." I said as I looked out the window
My grandma must have called John and Told him because he showed up the next day to the house my grandma was out of the house
"Hay kido" John said
"JHON!" I screamed running up to him Hugging him
"Wow someone happy to see me." John said
"Your Like a father, a Best friend and a Brother so i'm always happy to see you." I stated with a smile "How is everyone at the police station?"
"Well Peter got married to his girlfriend, Liam got engaged, Roy adopted a puppy and got married to his boyfriend, Rodger and his wife had their third kid and Zack and Tony started dating each other and my wife's pregnant with our baby. Steve and Kyle aren't up to much." He said
"How long have i been gone?" I asked surprised
"haha yeah alots happened your grandma told me that you wanna go to school i'm okay with this but we've got to get you accommodated back into school so a couple of us officers are coming with you to keep you safe." he stated
"No sorry I love you guys but I feel like I'll be made fun of a lot." I stated
"exactly that's why we're going to be undercover." he said
"Okay fine." I said sarcastically
"You know we are your family i mean you said that i'm like a brother to you so what you worried about." he said
"Me trying to flirt with boys and girls or them trying to flirt with me and you guys beating them up." I said
"Me and the boys won't do that." he said
"Okay sure" I said sarcastically
"Okay you start school tomorrow so go sleep." he said
"thanks John" i said
The next day I got in the car with john in the morning, and arrived at school it was 8th grade john walked me to the office and told them who I was they gave me someone to show me around school.
"this is Markus." the office lady said.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" Markus said.
"I go to school here now." I said.
"Oh hang out with me i'll show you the ropes." he said
"okay." I said "Bye John"
me and Markus walked out to the hallway.
“ hay i'll give you some tips don't mention who you are or Theater trust me I know its hard but The kids here are really mean they are really mean and need to be taught a bunch of lessons like how not to back talk teachers." He said
"You don’t need to tell me twice they can’t be worse than me buddy im it as nice as you think. But you might need to get closer to me to figure that out. I said
We walked to class staring at each other
"Here we are." I said
"Students please welcome our new student Mrs." the teacher said
before I cut her off
"Lee I said Mrs.Lee." I said
"Okay students say hi." The teacher said
The teacher pulled me to the side when everyone was outside. "It says your last names Y/L/N why did you say Lee?"
"Because Y/L/N my moms last name yes I am being raised by her mom but I don't want to be connected with her my moms not a nice person and if people find out what she has done hell i'm scared of my mother she's a scary person so i've taken my fathers name i'm making it legal within the once my grandfather gets back from his hunting trip. In a few days. My grand,a dose not like the courthouse." I said
"Just because there's people that we hate in our lives does not mean that we need to get rid of things that connect us with them." she said,"you have a chance to take your last name's legacy and change it, don't throw it away." She said
"Well if I happen to change my names legacy and do what I want with my life and become famous there's already enough judgment in that job that with this hanging over my head then It might give me a heart attack but being famous will also make me happy and jump with joy all I want is to be old enough to move out and fall in love and start a family of my own. But I'm scared that I'm going to go down the same path as my mother." I said
"The more you say that to yourself the more you are going to fail you need more confidence." She said
"That's funny, my theater director says I have two lot of confidence." I said
"Well we all have confidence, we just all spend it in different places so spread that confidence around." she said
"Hey Y/L, come hang out over here." Markus said
"Sure." I said
Later that day me and markus were in science chatting well the teacher was talking we didn't hear what she said
"Markus, Ann since you too are so chit chatty you too are partners."
She said
After school Markus said "come to my house and do the project there."
"Okay" I said "let me call my lift my family is a bit overprotective so they might come."
"Okay that's fine." He said
I called John and He told me that he would have to come with me a couple minutes later. John was waving from the car.
I said “see you in a few”
to markus and went into the car buckled and drove to his house. Me and Markus were in the kitchen and his mom and John were in the living room talking. John had told me that we have to leave by nine.
"So who is that guy?" Markus siad
"Well he's my best friend." I said
"I'm not your best friend." Markus said
"Well he's different." I said
"He's too old for you, you need to date someone your own age." Markus said
"Not like that. It's complicated." I said
"You can tell me anything." He said
"Well John was the Police officer; that arrested me when I was 7. I was a troublemaker and got in a lot of trouble; for threatening to kill a kid. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal, if Columbine had not just happened. My mom refused to pick me up from the police station. I waited there for a few years till a family member would pick me up. That never happened. When my mom got arrested for selling drugs. I went to my dad he started to drink and abuse me, I got really scared and ran back to my home the cops, there my home there my family. Then I went to my grandmother's house and wanted to know stuff about my family and it turned out that my mother had killed a bunch of kids and adults and was a child sexual predator. John is just a bit over protective of me. All of the cops at that station treat me like family.” I said
"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know." He said
"No it's okay. The court mandatory therapist said that I need to talk about it." I said laughing
"Do not worry I wont tell anyone." He said
"I'm not worried." I said we both started to lean in and look at each other's lips, "I think I should probably be going."
"Okay see you tomorrow." He said
"Yah yah okay bye."I said
Me and Markus worked on the project for a couple weeks, and didn't talk about what had happened but then the day that we had finished the project.
"Hey, I really liked hanging out with you. Would you like to see a movie with me this weekend after our final theater performance." Markus asked
"sure." I said
John was okay with me going Markus. and I went to a horror movie. which I hated because of paranoia. I already feel like i'm being watched 24/7 so I try to avoid. Anything scary there was a big jump scare and I grabbed Markus Hand after the movies. He asked if I was okay. I didn't say anything I just looked into his eyes and then down at his lips I wasn't going to do it but then he kissed me and I kissed him back.
"Hay do you want to come over to my house and watch a Superhero movie." he said
"yah sure." I said
We started dating from there on into highschool senior year. I was a fresh 17 and he was 19. I thought we were meant to be together forever. That he was going to be the father of my children. I still remember freshman year I had gotten onto the Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling, Boxing and Golfing team as well as still doin theater outside of school. He was a proud boyfriend; he was the one cheering the loudest at the games and performances and when I made the honor roll he was the first one to text me. It was my final Basketball game before summer junior year and he had hijacked the sound system and started playing my favorite song as soon as I made the basket even though he knew he would be in trouble he told me he didn't care just as long as he got to see my smile. He caressed my face and kissed my forehead. I had my whole life planned out with him. When I turned 17 though everything changed he was 18 and politics were happening he asked me what I would do if i could vote and we got into a big fight that's why I don't vote know as an adult that one moment has ruined my entire life and also saved me I was able to pass all my classes with flying colors. But home life wasn't the best. At 15 my grandma had been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and Liver Cancer. She was fighting as hard as she could but she died a couple weeks before I turned 17. It was just me and grandpa. He tried to make me feel better but nothing helped. She was the only mother figure I had up till then, she was my everything. At 17 I graduated and John and all the cops came. I saw Ezra lee for the first time in a long time after the ceremony. I walked up to her and just said sorry. I didnt realize that she was not aware of what had happened and that our father had told her that her mother was just gone for work
(I need to catch up on all my story’s there will be parts posted by next week and I will figure out how to do a master list.”

Fast X's Release Date
The first part of Fast X is currently scheduled to be released on May 19, 2023. The previous movie, F9, had one of the most successful theatrical runs of the pandemic period, so it stands to reason that we'll be seeing the upcoming film in theaters unless something really drastic happens. Fast X was originally scheduled to arrive in April 2021 but was postponed after F9 ran into a series of delays. It was then set for release on April 7, 2023, but has since been delayed again. There hasn't been any word on when Part 2 of the movie will be out, but we'll probably find out soon enough.
Does Fast X Have a Trailer

You know, I commend Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Brie Larson and Elizabeth Olsen for speaking up when something Marvel does doesn’t feel right to them or is frustrating to them. Marvel and its fandom has become like a cult of positivity – forced positivity, you CANNOT say anything non-positive without being labeled a hater. I think it took some guts on their part to say something even slightly suggestive of being less than 100% positive and I’m actually really proud of them. They’re not afraid to express themselves and speak up, even just what little they said. It matters to me, a lot. If they’re able to say just that much to the public, that makes me feel like “Yes!! This shit ain’t right and it’s not just me!!” You know what I mean!
I do and they definitely are brave, it can't be easy to speak up about it. The part I hate the most is that the same articles that share their quotes about how uncomfortable they felt during filming have the journalists praising Marvel and Disney, it's almost as if they're saying "we're sharing these quotes but we love the mouse, don't blacklist us!".
They claim it's funny that the actors don't know who they're talking to when delivering their lines, they make jokes about the actors not getting full scripts or talk about Marvel's quirky attitude during filming and how 'success' will make studios behave that way (uh Marvel is the only one that does it so... nope).
Then some actors who will not be coming back to Marvel ever again are free to speak up their minds and what they say is glorious:
Salma Hayek during promo for Eternals (x): "It freaked me out and I hated it and I was angry about it. They didn't want me to keep the script. I'd make my notes and they'd take it away. They give you another one, but they take the old one. I like to keep my stuff. You say "Oh my God, what if I go to jail?" I couldn't write my notes there. That's my whole process. They would take away the script and I was offended."
And like you mention, even the actors who are still working for them talk about it:
Elizabeth Olsen: "This time, they actually decided not to give us scripts. They gave me my pages, then they explained other things that are happening." (x)
Sebastian Stan didn’t even know that Bucky Barnes was one of the characters who was snapped away. He was just told to “fall,” and he had to ask both of the Russo brothers before either of them gave him an answer.
Brie Larson: “I had no idea what I was shooting, what the movie was. I didn’t know if anybody else was in a scene with me. I didn’t know anything. And it’s not until you show up that you get your pages for the day. But you only get your part. So it was like a scene that was completely black redacted, and then just my one line.” (x)
And the directors too!
"RDJ was probably the only one to actually read the entire script," Joe Russo told Rotten Tomatoes, adding: "I think Benedict [Cumberbatch] got the script that included his scenes only. Maybe [Chris] Evans might have read the script." (x)
“Tom Holland gets his lines and that’s it," Joe Russo revealed at an Endgame event. "He doesn’t even know who he’s acting opposite of. We’ll just, we use like very vague terms to describe to him what is happening in the scene, because he has a very difficult time keeping his mouth shut.” (x)
So it's not like we're making these things up, they're telling the stories themselves. But of course any criticism directed at Marvel has them playing the victim, just look at the bad reviews for Eternals. Victoria Alonso claimed they were related to the inclusivity and representation in the movie, as in the only reason the critics were saying it wasn't a good film was because they hated queer rep. That's quite literally playing the victim: I liked the movie but it's in no way a perfect one, but these people want a damn pat in the back for showing one queer relationship in 14 years!
So a Marvel producer says this and of course the fans feel entitled to hate on anyone who didn't like Eternals, I read so many posts in here that claimed whoever didn't like it was a racist or a homophobe...
And that takes me to that forced positivity you mention, there are fanboys of the MCU and Disney who quite simply do not tolerate any criticism about their movies and shows, that every time a director says anything negative about Marvel they go feral and feel personally attacked (!), that boycott actors who have spoken against Marvel's working method... it's crazy.
